Hi, my name is Christy Gilmour, I am 25 years old and I have just qualified for the World Longboard Surfing Tour.
My dream to represent South Africa and compete on the World Longboard Tour started at the age of 14, when I was first introduced into the competitive side of Longboard Surfing. My dream has just become a reality, after qualifying for the World Longboard Tour at the recent WSL QS1000 Surf Emporium SA Longboard Champs in Jefferys Bay.
The World Longboard Tour consists of 4 stops around the World:
- Huntington, California
- Bells Beach, Australia
- La Union, Philippines
- El Sunzal, El Salvador
With there being 4 events on the Tour, this comes with some crazy expenses from Visas, to flights, accommodation, and so much more!
Your assistance in helping me achieve my dream and represent South Africa on the highest level of longboard surfing in the world would be greatly appreciated!
